Emily Edison is now on MySpace. I don't know how effective it is as a form of promotion, but I'm willing to try. I like the idea of finding people who share an interest in indie/small press comics and making direct contact with them. However, there's so much stuff going on at MySpace, it's easy to be lost in the chaos.
