2/10/05 ~ And it shall be called "Karma Incorporated"

The official announcement for my project with Viper Comics is not until mid to late March. Pre-orders will be in May. The book is debuting at San Diego Comic Con in July. However, Jessie Garza in an interview with Simply JD gave another detail on the project-- the name. Now, I can stop calling it the "currently unannounced project".

We have tentatively scheduled to release 3 new books in July 2005....We'll be releasing Imaginary Friends created by Jason M. Burns/ art by Dustin Evans, Karma Incorporated created by David Hopkins / Art by Tom Kurzanski / Colors by Marlena Hall, and we're in talks to possibly release a new Josh Howard creator owned project. In the fall fans can expect to see at Wizard World Chicago the debut of a spin off series for Dead@17 called "The Protecorate", and it will feature writer Alex Hamby with art by Benjamin Hall. In addition, we have a few other books we still can't release information on...

Karma Incorporated. It has a name. And a few months ago, I dropped this little teaser of Tom's art on the book.

See? All these little details are slowly coming together. In March, be expecting some cool stuff... Viper's official announcement, a micro-site on their website, a forum, Karma Incorporated on Antihero Comics (with pin-ups, sketches, cover previews, fun bios, and character details), and a limited edition glossy print available for purchase.
